Just
Because You Were Arrested Does Not Mean You Are Guilty!
You
need to know that the United States and California Constitutions
guarantee you certain rights and privileges.
The
fourth amendment protects you against unreasonable search
and seizure. If your case involves an unlawful search and seizure it
may, in some cases, result in a dismissal or a good plea bargain.
The
fifth amendment guarantees you the right to remain silent.
If you have not already talked to a law enforcement officer, do not
do so until you have consulted with an attorney.
If you have been
charged by the State of California with a crime carrying serious
penalties (if you are convicted), then it is important that you receive
experienced legal counsel. Do not forfeit your legal rights. Chances
are you do not know what the District Attorney's office will tell the
judge about your arrest.
